The 400 series is the top diesel line of Perkins engines, which evolved from the family of compact engines. Developed in strict compliance with customer requirements, the 400 Series uses a small and compact design to deliver superior performance, achieve low emission rates and low operating costs. The 400 engine displacement is 0.5 to 2.2 liters, inline 2, 3 and 4 cylinders, naturally aspirated, supercharged and supercharged intercooled water-cooled engines.
